Will I be able to dial 411 from my Simply Voice number?

Directory assistance (411) is available for $0.99 per call.

Does Simply Voice provide 911 or E911 services?

Simply Voice will be compliant with the FCC mandate to support 911 Emergency Calling services by the end of 2005, so even though at this point Simply Voice does not support 911 or E911 services, it is in development. We find that the vast majority of our customers either have a regular phone line (often for their DSL service) or a mobile phone, so this is not a truly critical issue.

Can I call a 900 or 1-900 number from my Simply Voice phone?

No, Simply Voice service does not complete any calls to 900 or 1-900 numbers.

Can I use your service with my home alarm system or personal emergency response services company?

Yes, it will work simply by connecting your alarm to the Simply Voice device. However, we recommend that you keep a regular phone line for a home alarm or personal emergency response device because your Simply Voice device depends on your broadband Internet connection and electrical power. Please consult your current alarm service provider for further information.
