Some of our Soft phone users are
experiencing problems using the XCastDialer software.
Please follow these instructions.
Plug in your USB phone.
Windows should find it as a generic USB device.
Download and install the
XcastDialerSetupForSimplyVoice.msi
If the setup does not complete successfully, or you
receive errors when trying to run the software. Please
download and install
RtcApiSetup.zip
Start the dialer software.
Click on the wrench icon.
The XCastDialer Setting window will appear.
Under the connections tab.
Enter you user name (The username is your phone number
including area code).
Enter your password (The password is the password on
your VoIP line).
Click on the media devices tab.
From the pull downs select:
Generic USB Audio Device for both speaker and
Microphone.
